Corey was an actor, most commonly known for his roles in the 1980s teen movies such as "The Lost Boys," "Dream a Little Dream," and "Lucas." More recently, he appeared with his good friend Corey Feldman in the TV series "The Two Coreys"
I didn't know Corey, but my favorite memory of his work is a scene from "The Lost Boys." Corey's character Sam is in a bubble bath, singing Clarence Henry's "Ain't Got No Home." It cracks me up every time!
Corey had a long public stuggle with substance abuse, but it was not considered the cause of his death. According to the medical examiner, Corey had an enlarged heart, blockage of some arteries, and pneumonia was the main contributor to his passing.
A few days after his death, he was laid to rest in his hometown of Toronto.
Corey will be missed by his family, friends, and, of course, his fans.
